How Information Is Used

Collected information is used to operate the service, secure the platform, investigate abuse, respond to complaints, improve navigation, and comply with contractual, regulatory, and legal obligations.

  • To deliver pages, remember session state, and support responsive browsing and search.
  • To detect fraud, scraping, brute-force attempts, abuse, and other harmful behavior.
  • To review rights claims, consent issues, and law-enforcement or regulatory requests where legally required.

Sharing and Disclosure

Information may be shared with service providers and professional advisors that help run the site, and with authorities or counterparties when required for legal compliance or dispute handling.

  • Hosting, CDN, video-delivery, analytics, logging, and email providers may process data on behalf of the operator.
  • Copyright claimants, users submitting counter-notices, and regulators may receive information where the law or a valid process requires it.
  • The site does not sell personal information as part of the current scaffolded product flow.

Retention and Security

  • Security logs, moderation notes, and rights-complaint records may be retained longer where needed for auditing, dispute resolution, or compliance.
  • Sensitive records, including age or identity documents, should be stored outside the public web root with access controls and limited staff access.
